I was trying to write all sorts of clever things about the myth of unlimited economic growth but thought in the end that this video did the same job so much more effectively:
Hamster notwithstanding, almost every politician still talks about the need to start the economy growing again. The idea that we can increase, improve and continue to expand is wired into us now.
Transition asks us to challenge this. If our resources are finite, how can we keep growing?
